  This is one of my all time favourite walks and waterfalls ever. It's very quiet, isolated and flawless. Huia in general is a magnificent gem but this walk, which does take 30-45 minutes one way is highly rewarding. The falls are not large by any means but the entire isolated feel, the walk and swimming in the river is perfect. I would recommend this to anyone, though fitness is a requirement for the last 15 minutes of the uphill climb to the falls
