  Not a very good review Middlemore hospital, and understandably so, my recent visit was shocking, visiting a friend of mine, the treatment that the elderly gentleman next to him was so uncalled for. Absolutely NO!! respect or dignity shown, that was disturbing and sad to see, I had to console him when the nurse left. I still visited him after my friend was released, concerned for his well being. I hope the managing directors read these reviews, maybe one in a few, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the rest.

  5 stars for the lovely nurses who took care of my mom. Our GP sent us here for a 2nd opinion and we waited for almost 6 hours to be seen by a tired, grumpy Asian doctor who had no compassion left in him at the time. The hospital is clearly underfunded and understaffed.
