  I am pregnant and made an appointment at 7:30am this morning for sugar tolerance (2hours). I am required to be fasting at least minimum 10 hours before taking the test. I was there on time, I was hoping to get this test done as early as possible, then I can have my breakfast about 9:30am. It was not too busy because it was quite early in the morning, but no one care about me until 7:45am. The lady was not smile at all and direct me and my husband to a room. She told me I am not allowed to leave until 2 hours later because this test. It was not my plan, I thought I can have blood test first and go home ( only 10 minus far away from lab test) and come back two hours to take another test. It seems that I misunderstood the procedure. I explained it to the lady and I don’t have a car now. If I take test now and no one pick my up 2 hours later. The lady was not professional and in patient. It seems that it was not her business with bad attitude. My husband was not happy with her attitude, and said pls don’t angry with my wife, she is pregent. The lady became more aggressive and inpatient and shout to us. Then she opened the door and left the room, leaving my husband and room alone in the room. I did not know where she was going. She said talk to my supervisor. I thought supervisor will listen to us about our previous conversation. Unfortunately, the supervisor even did not talk to us and send us to the room again. And said you are not allow to leave this room. Oh my god, seems like that she did not know my situation, I explained to her and she did not listen and said to me that you are not allowed to leave this room. I asked why I can leave the room before starting the test. I repeat twice and said that I go home first and come back to take the test, because I have to drive car by myself. Then she understood and agreed I can come back to take test 20 minutes later. As a supervisor, she should first ask patient that what happened, not just listen to the staff at lab. Even no any conversation with the patient and said that you are not allowed to leave. Pls I am not a prisoner. It wad a terrible experience, and their attitude shows them discrimination and this unpleasant and professional experience made me who is present fell unwell immedistely. I will make a complaint to the head of labtest.

  Very poor service by an older South African lady with blond hair . She must hate her job as she was very abrupt to people that came in. Never smiled. I did a wee test & asked her where to put it when done & she told me to wait in waiting room with it!! I was so disgusted by her attitude that I left the bottle in the front desk & walked out. Also the new bar code check in did not have any explanation on how to use & 3 of us that were waiting had to wait until a member of the public who was leaving told us. This was the worst experience in a lab test I have ever had. The blond woman should not be in customer service if she cannot even smile & be pleasant.
