  I have never written a review anywhere before, however after my experience on Tuesday Jan 9 2018, I need to share my thoughts.
  My sister in law, niece & I went to buy flowers for our mother in law's funeral casket. We all have a bond through flowers and gardening & this interlude was planned as a much needed time of calm.
  We knew a bright, informal bouquet laying flat on the casket would best suit Diana's wishes. We chose flowers & asked for assistance from the shop person, explaining our idea and that the funeral was on the same day.
  In the space of a few minutes we were told no less than 3 times that this is "normally an ordered item".
  Our explanation, sadness and request for help did little to gain either compassion or a solution. In an instant we all realised that we would leave the shop.
  We did, had a reaffirming hug outside and drove straight to Onewa Flowers. Here, we again explained our needs and had the most wonderful response, with the florist guiding us and creating a beautiful bouquet.
  We will never recommend or return to Barry's Point Road flowers; and of course, many of our friends and family have heard this story......
  Please be aware that people in the midst of grief do need support and a florist shop is often a sanctuary.
