  (opening week) Very strong start out of the gate. Nice selection of fresh fish which was very tasty. Chips were top notch and the owners were up for a bit of chat.
  
  Not so good the next visit - no owners around this time so maybe these were some new hires. Fish still fantastic but chips were a bit undercooked, small mixup with a wedges order landed me with some kumara chips.
  
  Haven't been back for a while but overall a welcome change to the mid-marua takeaway offerings. Focus seems to be on quality of food and fresh ingredients.

  This place has just changed hands.
  My family and I tried it out this evening and I'd have to say it is the best fish and chip/takeaway in the area.
  Fish so fresh with light batter
  Burgers outstanding and chips crispy and chunky.
  Don't even ask about the Paua Fritter.
  You have to try it for yourself
  Thanks and I'll be back - maybe tomorrow

  We are new to the neighbourhood and were delighted to find that our local fish n chip shop is one of the best we’ve come across in Auckland. Deliciously fresh fish and amazing home made potato fritters. Our new regular - we’ll be back for sure!
